One of the things about taking pictures within Second Life is the chance to try your hand at new things. I’ve attempted the ‘mirror’ effect before but would always seem to get such ragged lines and edges on my ‘mirror’. Finally – by chance the other day, I got it! Although I do think it has a lot to do with what windlight setting you use (I was using my own windlight setting called “Winter” which you can find here) but to get this effect, check out the tutorials we have over at the [SL] Blogger Support on the ‘mirror’ effect and plenty of other ideas!
There is so much amazing stuff happening this week (besides Turkey Day) that I need to spill out and hope you can bear with me:
It’s Pose Appreciation Week over at the [SL] Blogger Support! You can read about it here from Asthenia Pinazzo. It fits in perfectly with this weeks prompts for Inspire Me! (another lovely initiative that we have over at the Support blog.) As you can tell – I’m very proud of this little blog that all – EVERYONE has made to be awesome! I actually get giddy.
I’m actually doing this Monday’s Inspire Me! prompt “Bend Me, Shape Me” and appreciation on aDORKable Poses – Falling Series. Adorkable Peabody is one of my favorite pose-makers and has been for a while now and when she finally released the “Falling” series I knew I had to have them. What is so unique about them is their ability to actually stretch the limit on what you can do and bring emotion to your picture with just one simple pose.
Lastly, have you checked out Around the World yet hosted by The Ego Co???? Holy moley! You really should and while you’re there visit <Geometry> over in North America and pick up this amazing mesh dress called “Seattle”. It’s casual, yet class at the same time and although I’ve ‘falling’ and can’t get up – you defiantly have to believe me!
