Dance Like No One Is Watching

Around The World is still going on and you have until November 29th to visit and get your goodies. Today I’m showcasing two designers from North America, Apple May Designs and Captivity Co. poses. My cute long sleeve crop top is from Apple May and comes in a variety of designs to pin point locations all over North America. Captivity Co. has poses out to emulate break dancing, a style of street dancing that began in NYC in the 1970s.

I’ll admit that using these dance poses was a lot of fun. I constantly find myself dancing in RL, even if I do look like a goof. In other news, TRUTH released two new hair styles and I’m wearing Nyx. These styles are 50% off for the holiday weekend so don’t miss out.

Sleepless in Seattle

Yes I know the post name is a cliche but if you know me at all then you are familiar with the fact that I’m an insomniac. This dress is called Seattle and is available from Geometry for Around The World. It’s available in 12 colors but I chose grey since I felt it best represented a city known for it’s rainy weather. Around the World is officially open to the public today so be sure to stop by and check out each region.

Although I couldn’t find a suitable Seattle sim, I finally got to check out the RP sim Venexia. It’s amazingly well done and my one picture does not do it any sort of justice but I highly suggest checking it out. Just remember that in order to enter the city you do need to wear a visitor tag as it is a very active role play sim.

Huntress

A new event is coming to the grid called Around the World starting November 15 at 12PM SLT, brought to you by The Ego Co. Nine world regions will be represented by various designers and you can read more about it and the creators involved here. FAKE will be representing Africa and has this awesome skin called Lona in two tones, caramel and dark chocolate.

The skin comes in six different makeups, one of which is a clean version. I’m wearing Protector in caramel and felt like a bit of a huntress in this native skin. Remember, less than a day until this amazing event is opened to the public.

The Costume Ball is now in full swing! This gorgeous gown is available at the event from Valentina E., wings included. I feel dark and elegant in this dress. Blood Red Lips

The Costume Ball is coming! Brought to you by The Ego Co., it starts on October 24th at the Fable sim (home to .evolve. and Haste) and I have some goodies to show you from the event. First is this absolutely lovely Pink Fuel skin called Siren. The lips are gorgeous and the detail around the eyes definitely make this skin worthy of it’s name. Happy Undead will have this Black Widow dress at the event as well. I love the spider web detailing on the underbust. This piece is very versatile as you can wear the underbust and collar separately.

I couldn’t help but use this fabulous flower headpiece made by Pididdle as well. The red of the flowers and lips really pop against the darkness of the outfit. The headpiece is available at My Attic and comes in 8 different colors. I do love a good hair accessory!
