Breaking from the matrix

It´s what Fluid did for a few months presenting a poses and props only dedicated event, which sadly ends today, leaving you only a few hours left to run over and do some last-minute shopping.

And yes i mean really last-minute because while i was battling SL to get these last few pictures taken and yes took me way longer then expect and hence why the delay, but here it is a last-minute shout for a shopping spree and a last-minute goodbye to one awesome even.

And tonite we say farewell with Bent and another inspired and amazing prop fitting in perfectly with the theme of this week which was dedicated to films, with a little touch of Ziggy courtesy of Black Liquid for Vintage Fair where you will find another inspired props and poses also by Bent. Have fun everyone, time to go shopping and maybe after watch a film.

Not so long ago

Another round of Fluid and this time sadly the last for now, but hopefully it will come back revamped and bigger, in the meanwhile i show you a bit of this edition with flowey´s gorgeous and fun pose prop that comes with the room and the projector, it was no so long ago we needed these to see any film, it comes with 4 different poses, all extremely comfy and natural.

But for any picture you need more than poses, so i grabbed a few things from some of the other ht events still happening around SL, the clothes, skin and jewelry from Vintage Fair that just started yesterday, the cute necklace from Yummy from COLLABOR88 that ends this edition in 3 days, so hurry up before a new one starts.

The gorgeous beaded belt is available at Zodiac, still ongoing until the 23rd and this whole look just seen to put itself together naturally, so don´t wait longer because the weekend still gives us a long day for shopping and visiting events, you can find lms at the bottom of my post, and bask on the nostalgia of long days gone, and timeless fashion.

We´re all part of the same team

Yay is time for he Olympics and while tha is just starting, this edition of Fluid dedicated to sports is nearing it´s end, so to show of good sportsmanship and the very own spirit of international sports i picked a new release of t-shirts by Indyra Originals, part of it anyways, the socks and the cute tops representing several countries, and matched it with one of evolve´s new releases that will be out for Vintage Fair.

But none of this would have worked if i hadn´t this amazing pose prop by Motionless, of which i used only part of, i didn´t really have an American Footbal outfit, and i took my cloning to an extreme beating my own record of 7 Ely´s in one pic.

Just remember no matter who we scream for we are all in the same team folks, and doing it for the sports itself, so let´s start the week with fair play, as we say goodbye to one edition of Fluid and prepare for the next one.

Playing with myself

Today at noon start´s a new rotation of Fluid and this time the theme is Athletics, with 2 subthemes as usual for variety, which are: Cheerleading, Basketball and Football (yes i´m european is what we call it :P). And this months participating stores are: D•Luxx, Glitterati, GOLA Poses, Posies. *Art Dummy!, Starstuck, Purple Poses, Y’s Art&Poses, MotionLess Poses and Status.

Today was such a lovely morning here when i woke up, i tought what a perfect and lovely day for some early sports, but I can´t really play basketball with myself in RL, but in Sl where everything is possible i can, so i used this Y’s A&P pose, slightly moved since it is supposed to be  a lovely him and her pose, and played a little match, who own? I did.

For fitting apparel i did a quick run to League and put on my new Hair Fair release by Clawtooth, and was all set up for some early exercise.

Everyone have a beautiful and lovely sunday, time to enjoy it before the week starts on monday.

There is a show tonite

Well more exactly tomorrow even if it´s the 1st already for me, and the first only means one thing, that Fluid is back again with new things, so every two weeks we get to see some of the best pose makers, involved in a theme, this editions theme is “That’s Risque” divided in 3 sub-categories: Burlesque, S&M, and Voyeurism & Exhibitionism. and i bring you a small preview from what will be available at the event.

This lovely furniture set, that included a screen, a chair and a matching rug is from Clutter and it will be available tomorrow, today for me, at this The Ego Co. event, so here it is my friends, make sure to check the official blog for more previews here.

Fluidity

As we get closer to Friday  Fluid´s first edition is coming to an end, but the second one is about to start, and the theme this time is “That’s Risque”, and subdivided in 3 different categories: Burlesque, S&M, and Voyeurism & Exhibitionist. Here i am showing one of the items still available from the current edition, this super funny (as usual) and really well done mesh tentacles from Weather! or not?, as usual we get an awesome pose prop, but also a decoration item, all in mesh and with a very low land impact.

More new things i wanted to show of, are these gorgeous new LeLutka hair, and the in whites makeup from Pim me down i grabbed at Zombie Popcorn, I hope we get to see more whites from them.

Bikinis are optional

Yes they are and although i prefer them in RL, in SL i always go for a one piece swimsuit, to me it has a way more classic feel, and a one piece is what i´m wearing today, this one is an old model from Zaara, I´ll probably put on an actual bikini at some point during this summer, I have promised myself i would try at least one mesh bikini.

Even if the swimsuit is not a new model, the hair i´m wearing is, i absolutely love it, and i missed Maitreya hair releases, also new is my new beach bag, that inspired the whole look of the pics, and it was a group gift from 22769, I love the fact it´s funny and i´m constantly amazed, on the improvement of their mesh work, from the rolled up newspaper to the blue sandals their works gets better and better with each new release, hunt prize or group gift.

To be honest i don´t know how Manuel and Paco manage to constantly be involved in so many events, both female and male, wich is admirable, while at the same time keep up a such a warm, cheerful attitude to everything, and i advise you all to read a bit more about these two amazing creators here, on Geanna´s blog here.

I also wanted to show of some of the poses available at Fluid, I already blogged the event on Friday when it opened, It´s another  The Ego Co. organized event, and totally dedicated to poses and props with a two week rotation between new releases, and i have to tell you i hope i get time to blog as much of them as possible, because props in it are incredibly good and refreshing.

Wet grass

Tonite I sit on wet grass, wet grass due to Fluid, another The Ego Co. event, the organizer of the widely popular Mesh Around Hunt that ends today. And while we lament the end of this amazing hunt we celebrate the start of a new event, and  a longer lasting one, with Fluid every 2 weeks we have a new round of designers with new exclusive items, all related to posing and props today i picked this lovely table from flowey, and i also wore a few things from other events.

sl is buzzing with events atm a lot of them starting today, first Fluid that you can find here, besides Fluid we had the return of one of my all time favorite events, Fifty Linden Friday, in the meanwhile i also received the first items from My Second Box, which is an awesome new concept, well worth the 300L you pay to join the group.

And last but not least still going on is  CHIC², CHIC Management  second anniversary event, also as you might have  seen my last post Oopskate is later on tonite at 10pm SL time and you can read all about it here.

All good things come to an end, and unfortunately Mesh Around, ends tomorrow, this hunt has been going on since the 1st, with a huge amount of hunters and blog posts, you can find them all at the The Ego Co. blog, where you can follow all their events, and also check the amazing blogger team making sure you get to see all the beautiful things available at the events organized.

But even if Mesh Around is ending, Fluid is about to start, tomorrow also. Later on i will try to bring you all a preview, of this new bi-weekly event dedicated to posing and animations.

Bookworm

I like books, well actually i love books, i remember very well my first book it was Enid´s Blyton the Five Go Off in a Caravan, and i remember my mum calling me like mad to go and eat supper, but i couldn´t put the book down, books became then a habit, a cheap one because we had access to them thru  the library that would literally come to us every week, and a little bus like van with it´s back filled top to bottom with shelfs, all filled with books, i cant still remember it´s smell to this day.

But it has nothing to do with this blog post to be honest, or sl is just one of those memories that stick in your head and never really go away.

This blog post on the other hand is about Mesh Around, and some cute book poses. As you all know Mesh Around is a Hunt with mesh only prizes and organized by The Ego Co., the amount of hunters took everyone by surprised, while the prize quality didn´t with all the all well known shops involved.
